Wrocław | Baeva plays Mendelssohn in NFM

Alena Baeva is one of the most valued violinists of our times. Together with the NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra on the 20^th of January, 2024 at At 6:00 p.m., the artist will present her interpretation of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Violin Concerto in E minor, one of the most famous works of this type in the history of music. The programme also included two compositions for strings - by Dag Wirén and Mieczysław Karłowicz.

The NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra will be conducted this evening by the assistant concertmaster, violinist Magdalena Ziarkowska-Kołacka. The ensemble will perform, among others: Serenade in C major, Op. 2 by Mieczysław Karłowicz, which was composed in 1897 during the composer's studies in Berlin.
