An accompanying initiative to the jubilee concerts celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Polish Composers’ Union, prepared by the Youth Circle, is an online installation in the form of an interactive music quiz. The event is coordinated by Krzysztof Jurczak, a member of the Circle’s Board.
The project involves presenting works by selected composers from the Youth Circle, along with their biographical notes and quiz-style tasks related to those compositions. By progressing through successive stages, participants are confronted with a variety of aesthetic concepts and compositional strategies characteristic of the young generation.
The questions accompanying each recording encourage the discovery of key elements of the works and references to extra-musical inspirations present in the latest creative output of the Youth Circle members of the Polish Composers’ Union.
