The Institute of Music of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Zielona Góra is organising the third concert devoted to the work of contemporary composers who represent Zielona Góra, Poznań, and Szczecin. This year's Chamber Music Concert "Voice – Strike – Time" will take place on 14 December 2021 at 6 p.m. at the MCM hall of Tadeusz Baird Zielona Góra Philharmonic within the framework of the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the University of Zielona Góra.
The concert programme is unique for two reasons: it only encompasses premieres of works written specifically for this occasion, and all compositions are for solo voices and percussion instruments. The composers are lecturers of the University of Zielona Góra, Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, and Art Academy of Szczecin: Katarzyna Kwiecień-Długosz, Alina Kubik, Artur Cieślak, Katarzyna Taborowska-Kaszuba, Agnieszka Zdrojek-Suchodolska, Zbigniew Kozub, Stanisław Leśniewski and Juliusz Karcz.
The concert has been organized by the Institute of Music of the University of Zielona Góra in cooperation with the Department of Composition of Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. The programme will be presented twice: in Zielona Góra (14 December 2021) and in Poznań (18 December 2021). The performers will also be the lecturers of those universities. The patron of the event is the Polish Composers’ Union.
