The Il Cuore Dell'Arte Foundation invites you to the first edition of the Frieman International Summer Music Festival, which will take place from August 15–17, 2025, in Lublin and Czemierniki, Poland.
The festival is driven by a noble goal: to ensure that concerts in the Lublin Voivodeship are held not only in well-known, prestigious concert halls and cultural institutions, but also in places where high culture of international recognition rarely reaches, as well as in venues that have not previously been used for concert performances.
On August 15, at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Stanislaus in Czemierniki, violinist Liliana Dulanska (Slovakia/Bulgaria) and violist Nikolaus Besthorn (Germany/Romania) will inaugurate the first edition of the festival with a performance of works by Henryk Wieniawski.
The August 16 concert will take place at the Crown Tribunal in Lublin. The Budzyńska-Ogryzek Duo (Vienna) will present rarely performed works by Romuald Twardowski – Niggunim. Melodies of the Hasidim, Burlesque, Oberek – as well as compositions by Henryk Wieniawski and César Franck.
The festival will conclude with a final concert by the same duo on August 17, again at the Church of St. Stanislaus in Czemierniki: violinist Zuzanna Budzyńska and Szymon Ogryzek, this time performing as an organist, will present a program featuring works from the Baroque and Romantic eras.
The event is supported by the Lublin Voivodeship – Marshal’s Office of the Lublin Voivodeship. The festival has also been granted Honorary Patronage by the Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship, Mr. Jarosław Stawiarski, and Honorary Patronage by the Governor of Radzyń, Mr. Szczepan Niebrzegowski. The event is held under the patronage of the Slovak Institute in Warsaw and the Henryk Wieniawski Music Society in Lublin.
