The Jan Kiepura Cultural Society in Krynica-Zdrój invites singers to take part in the 12th International Jan Kiepura Vocal Competition, which will be held from 27 to 29 November 2025. The application deadline is 20 November.
The Competition is open to all singers from Poland and abroad who are students of music academies, vocal studies students, graduates of vocal departments, or soloists of musical theatres, who have not reached the age of 35 by 28 November 2025.
The mandatory competition programme includes, among others, an opera aria by a Polish composer and an art song by a Polish composer written before 1950.
Three statutory prizes are planned:
First Prize – 10,000 PLN,
Second Prize – 7,000 PLN,
Third Prize – 5,000 PLN.
All stages of the auditions and concerts are open to the public.
The Winners’ Concert will take place in the Ballroom of the Old Spa House (Stary Dom Zdrojowy) in Krynica-Zdrój on Saturday, 29 November 2025.
