14th “NeoArte – Synthesizer of Art” Festival
The 14th “NeoArte – Synthesizer of Art” Festival will once again present an artistic synthesis, showcasing the latest creative works in which the boundaries between different art forms become blurred. Video art, sound installations, multidisciplinary performances, the latest global trends in music and contemporary art, an international lineup, top artistic quality, and an atmosphere conducive to cultural engagement – NeoQuartet invites you to Gdańsk from October 23–26, 2025.
This year’s edition will be held under the patronage of a prominent figure in the world of contemporary composition – Icelandic artist Bergrún Snæbjörnsdóttir, whose works integrate sound and other phenomena into an indivisible whole – creating evolving, breathing, living structures through experimental performance practices and notation.
Over four days of events, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in twelve multidisciplinary concerts and performances. Composition students will be able to take part in composition workshops led by the festival’s patron.
Children and young people will have the chance to engage in activities introducing them to the fascinating world of contemporary art. Almost every concert is planned as a multidisciplinary spectacle, with most of them involving the audience as part of the artistic process.
Among the performers will be both leading international artists (Nordic Voices, KlangLab Ensemble, Morphosis Duo, Roberto Maqueda, Marko Ciciliani) and outstanding Polish ensembles and soloists (Flow Unit, Martyna Zakrzewska, Simultaneo). The festival’s hosts, NeoQuartet, will perform several times, presenting the latest multimedia installations by Marko Ciciliani and Martyna Kosecka, as well as premiering numerous works by composers from Iceland, Poland, Hungary, and Finland.
We will hear dozens of compositions by composers from around the world, with four world premieres taking place during the festival.
