The 15th Jubilee Gala of the “Coryphaeus of Polish Music” Awards will take place on November 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. The winners of this year’s prestigious Polish music community award will be announced in four categories: “Personality of the Year,” “Discovery of the Year,” “Event of the Year,” and the “Honorary Award.”
Established in 2011, the Coryphaeus of Polish Music Award is one of the most important distinctions in Polish musical life. It honors composers, performers, researchers, animators, and institutions for their achievements in the past season. An exception is the Honorary Award, which is granted for lifetime achievement — the name of its recipient will be revealed only during the awards ceremony.
The winners are selected by the College of Electors, appointed by the National Institute of Music and Dance and composed of representatives of the Polish music community. The “Discovery of the Year” category is decided jointly by the Electors and the public via an open vote.
This year’s gala performers include: soprano Iwona Hossa, jazz vocalist Dorota Miśkiewicz, violinist Bartłomiej Nizioł, singer, pianist and composer Grzegorz Turnau, pianist Marcin Wasilewski, the ensemble Młode Stare Baby, {oh!} Orchestra with Martyna Pastuszka, Adam Sztaba’s Orchestra, the Chopin University Chamber Orchestra, and cymbalist Marta Maślanka.
The program will include works by Antoni Stolpe, Henryk Wieniawski, Krzysztof Komeda, Grzegorz Turnau, and Marcin Wasilewski, among others.
Tickets are available at bilety24.pl and on the website and at the box office of the National Philharmonic.
The event is organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
