The Department of Composition at the Poznań Academy of Music invites you to the 18th International Composers' Forum in Poznań, which will take place on November 13-14, 2024, under the theme "Film and Theatre Music."
This year, the organizers have invited renowned composers, music theorists, and musicologists. Papers will be presented by Jacek Adamczak, Piotr Klimek, Aleksandra Kłaput-Wiśniewska, Andrzej Konieczny, Sebastian Ładyżyński, Krzysztof Olczak, Joanna Schiller-Rydzewska, Mikołaj Stroiński, Jacek Szerszenowicz, and Maciej Zieliński.
On November 13, there will be a concert of film music performed by composers Andrzej Konieczny, Zbigniew Kozub, Maciej Henel-Celis, Kacper Krupa, and Radosław Mateja. Their own works will be performed, along with music by Joanna Czarny, Mikołaj Jarczyński, and Agnieszka Zdrojek-Suchodolska. Additionally, live music will accompany short films “Galeria” and “Virus” by Robert Proch (1986-2019) on the 5th anniversary of his death.
