On August 30 and 31, 2025, the 18th Lubomirski Festival will take place at the Małopolska Cultural Centre “Sokół” in Nowy Sącz – a celebration of music, history, and culture commemorating the great patron of the arts, Prince Władysław Lubomirski.
For several years now, the festival has been merging tradition with modernity, presenting both masterpieces of early and classical music and contemporary works performed by artists whose artistry moves and inspires.
On August 30, the Orchestra of the Krakow Cultural Syndicate, conducted by Sebastian Perłowski, will perform works by Joseph Haydn, Maciej Radziwiłł, and Karol Lipiński. On August 31, the Khmelnytsky Philharmonic Orchestra will take the stage. Under the baton of Taras Martynyk, they will perform 20th-century Polish music — the Polish Rhapsody by Grzegorz Fitelberg, the Lithuanian Rhapsody by Mieczysław Karłowicz, and the Ukrainian Carpathian Rhapsody by Levko Kolodub.
