1st Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition – the winners in "Violin" and "Voice" categories

The names of the winners in "Violin" and "Voice" categories of the 1st Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition in Katowice were announced on September 19 and 20, 2018.

In accordance with the decision of the jury, the results of the final stage in violin category are following: I PRIZE (€ 25 000) Sławomira Wilga, II PRIZE € (18 000) Roksana Kwaśnikowska, III PRIZE (€ 10 000) Maja Horvat. SPECIAL PRIZE for the best performance of a work by Karol Szymanowski (€ 6 000) went to Maja Horvat.

The results of the final stage in voice category are following: I PRIZE (€ 25 000) Ewa Tracz, II PRIZE (€ 18 000) Sylwia Olszyńska, III PRIZE (€ 10 000) Agnieszka Jadwiga Grochala. SPECIAL PRIZE for the best performance of a work by Karol Szymanowski (€ 6 000) went to Ewa Tracz.
