Between May 18 and 24, 2025, without leaving home, anyone can experience the atmosphere of one of the world’s most important vocal competitions! The 21st Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition will be streamed live, and thanks to cooperation with the OperaVision platform, the final performances will be available to audiences around the globe.
All competition auditions will be streamed live at https://adasari.pl/. Thanks to the collaboration with OperaVision – a prestigious platform showcasing the most significant opera events – Stage III, the final round of the Competition, will be made accessible to classical music lovers worldwide via https://operavision.eu/.
The Final Concert and the Prize-Winners’ Concert will be available online for one month after the live broadcast – until June 23, 2025. The remaining recordings will be accessible without time limits.
The Competition is organized by the Małopolska Cultural Centre SOKÓŁ in Nowy Sącz. The event was initiated in 1985 by Professor Helena Łazarska, an outstanding singer and pedagogue, with the support of Antoni Malczak, long-time director of MCK SOKÓŁ. Since 2014, the position of Artistic Director has been held by distinguished Polish singer Małgorzata Walewska.
The Competition is held under the honorary patronage of Minister of Culture and National Heritage Hanna Wróblewska and Deputy Marshal of the Małopolska Region Witold Kozłowski. It is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state special-purpose fund – under the "Music" programme implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
