The Artistic Agency “WENA” and the Victoria Culture Center in Gliwice invite you on November 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. to the concert hall of the L. Różycki State Music School, in Gliwice for the annual concert of the Gliwice Chamber Orchestra from the series “Masterful Interpretations.”
This year’s concert will be the main event celebrating the Orchestra’s 25th Anniversary and will take place as part of the “All’Improvviso” Festival. The soloist will be Bartłomiej Nizioł.
The violinist, a laureate of first prizes in prestigious international competitions, serves as concertmaster of the Opernhaus Zürich and professor at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. He performs on a 1727 Guarneri del Gesù violin. At the Jubilee Concert, together with the Gliwice Chamber Orchestra, he will perform Violin Concertos by F. Janiewicz and F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.
The concert will be conducted by Su-Han Yang from Taiwan, the Orchestra’s guest conductor since 2019, who won First Prize at the 10th Grzegorz Fitelberg International Conducting Competition at the Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice in 2017. He currently serves as Assistant Conductor of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
The program will also include Grażyna Bacewicz’s Concerto for String Orchestra and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 29 in A major.
