The Mieczysław Karłowicz Association in Zakopane invites you to the 2nd edition of “Summer Concerts with a View: Holidays with G(h)osts”, taking place from July 19 to August 23, 2025, in Zakopane, Poland.
Renowned artists from across Poland will gather in Zakopane to showcase the surprisingly wide expressive range of wind instruments.
The musical journey begins with a tribute to Polish film music, arranged for brass quartet by Brass Riders. The Cracow Golden Quintet will take audiences back to the golden era of aerophones. Other highlights include performers inspired by ethnic traditions (Etnos Ensemble), a group experimenting with sound and form (Green Dolphins), and an energetic big band.
The program features works by Wojciech Kilar, Włodzimierz Korcz, Henryk Kuźniak, Jerzy Matuszkiewicz, and Piotr Marczewski, among others.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the National Centre for Culture (NCK) as part of the “Culture – Interventions” 2025 program.
