2nd Frieman International Summer Music Festival

The Il Cuore Dell'Arte Foundation invites the audiences to the 2nd Frieman International Summer Music Festival, which will take place on August 2–16, 2026, in the Lublin Region. Artists who have confirmed their participation in this year's edition include the Cuore Piano Trio and the Duo Karolina Mikołajczyk & Iwo Jedynecki.

The concerts of the Festival will be held in historic churches across the Lublin region: St. Anne’s Church in Wohyń, St. Stanislaus’ Church in Czemierniki, Holy Trinity Church in Radzyń Podlaski, and the Minor Basilica in Parczew. The choice of venues aims not only to ensure optimal acoustic and aesthetic conditions, but also to promote the architectural heritage of the region.

Performed by international competition winners, the programme will feature works from various periods, including music by Polish composers: Karol Lipiński, Henryk Wieniawski, Romuald Twardowski, and Andrzej Panufnik. The Duo Mikołajczyk & Jedynecki—laureates of the "Polityka's Passports" award—will present the Four Seasons cycles by Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzolla in their own arrangements. The concert on August 15, featuring violinist Zuzanna Budzyńska, cellist Johanna Vocetkova, and pianist Szymon Ogryzek, will be dedicated to the memory of the Cursed Soldiers.

The second edition of the event is organized with the support of the Lublin Voivodeship, the County Executive Boards in Radzyń Podlaski and Parczew, the City Halls of Radzyń Podlaski, Parczew, and Czemierniki, the Municipal Office of Wohyń, the H. Łopaciński Voivodeship Public Library in Lublin, Radio Lublin, and TVP 3 Lublin.
