32. Świętokrzyskie Days of Music Festival in Kielce

The Świętokrzyska Philharmonic invites you to the 32nd Świętokrzyskie Days of Music Festival, taking place from November 8 to 15, 2024. This year's exceptional edition will exclusively feature Polish music, including forgotten works that are unknown, unpublished, or composed by creators whose legacies were deliberately destroyed or hidden.

The festival will be conducted by Marta Kluczyńska and Jacek Rogala, featuring performances by the Symphony Orchestra of the Philharmonic, the Ultra Musicam trio, and the "Mauris Ensemble" Harp Trio.

Soloists include accordionist Klaudiusz Baran, violinist Mateusz Strzelecki, soprano Magdalena Witczak, clarinetist Michał Górczyński, and pianist-composer Zygmunt Krauze, who will perform his piece Adieu for detuned piano and orchestra during the final concert.

On November 11, a jazz evening will take place, where Piotr Orzechowski "Pianohooligan" will present his piece Critique of Swing in Two Parts, reflecting the history of jazz.

On November 13, we will witness the world premiere of Three Songs by Eugeniusz Brańka, interpreted by the Ultra Musicam ensemble, featuring soprano Magdalena Witczak, violinist Karol Lipiński-Brańka, and cellist Anna Wróbel.

As part of the "Musical Meetings with PGE Polish Energy Group," an interactive family concert titled "Dominobajki" will be held, featuring piano, percussion, and audience participation with music by Jarosław Siwiński.

The concerts will be accompanied by two exhibitions presenting the work of students from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Kielce: "Musical Inspirations" and "Artistic Dimensions."

The symphonic concerts are co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the "Musician-in-Residence" program, funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. The musician-in-residence at the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic for the 2024/25 season is Magdalena Basaj.

Funding has been provided by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund under the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.

Honorary patrons include the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Świętokrzyskie Voivode Józef Bryk, Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Renata Janik, and President of Kielce Agata Wojda.
