37th Cracow International Festival of Composers

The 37th Cracow International Festival of Composers will take place from May 10 to 18, 2025. The theme of this year’s Festival, organized by the Cracow Branch of Polish Composers’ Union is “Music in Music.” Admission to all concerts is free!

Aleksander Nowak will be the Festival’s special guest. His works will be performed by the New Music Orchestra conducted by Szymon Bywalec, as well as by the Silesian String Quartet.

Across nine festival concerts, audiences will hear music by composers from Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Argentina, Mexico, Ukraine, Italy, and China, South Korea, and Japan. The program will include 32 world premieres and 2 Polish premieres.

All concerts will be livestreamed on the Festival’s official YouTube channel (Krakow International Festival of Composers).

The Festival is funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the “Music” and “Composers’ Commissions” programs, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
The project is also co-financed by the City of Cracow.
