4th International Festival "Paderewski at Ujazdów"

Information about the event | Warszawa | 20 June 2026

The 4th International Festival "Paderewski at Ujazdów" will take place in Warsaw between June 20 and September 12, 2026. This year's series of open-air Saturday concerts in Ujazdów Park, held next to the monument to Ignacy Jan Paderewski, will be dedicated to the work of the world-renowned pianist and composer, statesman, and philanthropist, whose 85th death anniversary falls this year. Admission to all concerts is free of charge.

In the heart of the Polish capital, audiences will be able to enjoy the delicate sounds of the king of instruments—the piano—as well as chamber music every Saturday at 4.00 pm throughout the summer. The lineup of performers includes Michał Szymanowski, the duo Małgorzata Sajna-Mataczyńska and Marcin Sikorski, Magdalena Lisak, Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just, the jazz-infused Afanasjew Szymanowski Quartet, Olgierd Grischenko, Tomasz Marut, Ivan Shemchuk, Tianyao Lyu, Adam Kośmieja, Zhuoqing Du, and Aleksandra Dąbek.

These outstanding musicians will perform not only works by Paderewski, but also by other Polish and international composers, including Fryderyk Chopin, Juliusz Zarębski, Karol Szymanowski, Natalia Janotha, Wanda Landowska, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, and Krzysztof Komeda.

The concert on June 27, dedicated to celebrating the 85th anniversary of Ignacy Jan Paderewski's death, will be a highlight of the festival. Pianist Filip Wojciechowski will perform Paderewski's Nocturne in B-flat major and Minuet in G major, along with works by Aleksandr Scriabin, Richard Addinsell, and Erik Satie. The second part of the concert will feature jazz arrangements of pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as compositions by Chick Corea, Władysław Szpilman, and George Gershwin.

The 4th "Paderewski at Ujazdów" Festival is held under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the Regional Governor of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Mariusz Frankowski, and the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski.
