As part of the 9th International Józef Świder Music Festival, on December 6, 2024, the 4th Scientific and Artistic Conference "Józef Świder – Composer, Teacher, Social Activist" will be held at the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn (62 Bielska St.). The deadline for applications is November 15.
Following the conference, there will be a concert of Józef Świder's music in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of his death.
Applications together with a proposal of presentations (paper, communication, workshop), should be sent by November 15, 2024, to the following email address:
The expected time for presentations is: paper - up to 20 minutes, discussion contribution - up to 7 minutes.
The conference fee is 250 PLN. The fee includes conference materials, a formal dinner, coffee breaks, participation in the concert, and publication printing (after receiving a positive review).
