The 5th Mokotów International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music will take place at the St. Andrzej Bobola Sanctuary at 61 Rakowiecka Street in Warsaw from July 12 to 19, 2026. Admission to all festival events is free.
During the opening concert, a trio of Joanna Morska-Osińska, Filip Zieliński, and Michał Sawicki will perform works by Aldebrando Subissati, Girolamo Frescobaldi, and Alessandro Piccinini, arranged for violin, theorbo, and basso continuo.
On July 15, Małgorzata and Sylwester Trojanowski will present pieces for soprano and organ, as well as organ solo, including compositions by Stanisław Moniuszko and Mieczysław Surzyński.
A highlight of this year’s edition will be a piano recital by Piotr Alexewicz—winner of the 5th Prize and the Audience Award at the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. On July 18, the audience will hear his interpretations of works by Fryderyk Chopin, Ottorino Respighi, and Robert Schumann.
The festival finale will be held on July 19 and includes an organ recital by Sebastian Kuczyński, who will perform works by Dieterich Buxtehude and Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as Augustyn Bloch’s Fantasia per organo.
The project is co-funded by the District of Mokotów of the Capital City of Warsaw.
