The 5th Prof. Marek Jasiński International Festival "Soni Spatium" will take place on September 19–21, 2025, in Stargard. The program will include concerts as well as a new Choral Competition for the best performance of a piece by Marek Jasiński. Free admission!
The concerts and the competition will be held at the Collegiate Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of the World, in Stargard.
This year’s edition will begin with an a cappella concert by the ensemble AcapellArt from Hungary.
On September 20, the competition auditions will take place. The aim of the competition is to promote the work of Marek Jasiński and to recognize the talent and skills of choristers and conductors. The winning ensemble will receive a cash prize funded by the Mayor of the City of Stargard and a commemorative statuette funded by the Starost of Stargard.
The crowning event of this year’s Festival will be the world premiere of Toccatina for "M" by Dawid Pajdzik. Also featured will be the Laudes by Marek Jasiński, full of praise and thanksgiving, Victoria by Wojciech Kilar – a cantata that became an expression of hopes for the end of martial law in Poland – as well as works by Karol Szymanowski, Mieczysław Weinberg, and George Frideric Handel.
The event is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund under the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance. The task is also co-financed by the Municipality of the City of Stargard.
