In November 2017 the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 in Warsaw will celebrate its 70th jubilee.
The jubile has been granted the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It will feature a series of concerts with the participation of eminent school graduates. The list of performers will include MoCart Group, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Andrzej Jagodziński, Michał Tokaja, Szymanowski Young Power Big-Band, Janusz Olejniczak, Patrycja Piekutowska, Tomasz Strahl, Grzegorz Skrobiński, Piano Trio composed of Radosław Sobczak, Jakub Jakowicz and Bartosz Koziak, as well as students of the school (Natalia Borzuta, Jakub Capała, Karol Denkiewicz, Bartosz Kowalczyk).
At the Final Gala Concert at the Warsaw Philharmonic The Jubilee Orchestra and Choir under Łukasz Borowicz along with soloists will perform works by Ernest Chausson, Wojciech Kilar, Karol Kurpiński, Eugeniusz Pankiewicz, Siergiei Prokofiew, Carl Reinecke, and Karol Szymanowski.
