7th Cracow Accordion Festival

The 7th edition of the Cracow Accordion Festival will take place on October 13-20 (from Sunday to Sunday). Concerts and accompanying events will take place in Cracow, the Galician Town and the Ethnographic Park in Nowy Sącz. Each day of the festival will present a different face of the accordion.

The 7th Cracow Accordion Festival is an international celebration of accordion music in all its manifestations.

In addition to concerts of performers and composers from different generations in various musical genres, the festival includes accompanying events with the accordion "in the main role", such as: workshops, lectures, and Accordion Day in the Galician Town. The festival aims to disseminate accordion music among people of all ages by showing its various uses, in various instrumental compositions and musical genres.

The festival also helps you get to know Cracow, each event takes place in a different, important place for Cracow. These will be: The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Cracow, Hevre, National Museum in Cracow - Main Building, Bishop Erazm Ciołek's Palace - branch of the National Museum in Cracow, Church of St. Marcin, Cracow Cultural Forum and Kazimierz Club. In line with the Galician tradition, the festival will also be held in the Galician Town and the Ethnographic Park of the District Museum in Nowy Sącz.
