The Contemporary Music Foundation in Poznań invites conductors and composers to workshops that will take place as part of the 54th International Contemporary Music Festival "Poznańska Wiosna Muzyczna" from April 22 to 24, 2025. The deadline for submitting applications for conductors is March 17, for composers – March 18, and for auditors – April 2.
The workshops are dedicated to young composers and conductors up to 35 years of age.
Composers will have the opportunity to participate in individual consultations led by academic lecturers and performing artists and hear their new compositions in their interpretations. Conductors will take part in masterclasses dedicated to contemporary music and will conduct premieres of works by young composers.
The workshops will be led by Dr. Artur Kroschel, Dr. Michał Janocha, Yaroslav Shemet, and artists from the Sepia Ensemble. Participants will also have the chance to attend open rehearsals of the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Yaroslav Shemet, which is preparing to premiere works commissioned by "Poznańska Wiosna Muzyczna."
The recruitment results will be announced no later than March 20.
