The Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites children and their parents to Wilanów for a musical storytelling event titled "A Musical Journey to the Land of Imagination", which will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Wilanów Library / Branch No. 52 (Main Library), located at 3 Kolegiacka Street in Warsaw.
This will be an interactive family concert (approx. 50 minutes, for children aged 5+), based on a story told by an actor and the audience, accompanied by improvising musicians. Admission is free.
Performers: Bartosz Smorągiewicz – clarinets and saxophones, Małgorzata Kołcz – double bas, Jarosław Siwiński – synthesizer
The fairy tale journey will be led by actress Marta Dylewska.
Together with the improvising artists, children will travel through various realms of imagination, meeting fantastical characters. Every strange or wild idea suggested by the children can be told and played, as live music will accompany the stories, emphasizing emotions and building the atmosphere of the unfolding tale.
The concert is part of the "Creative Warsaw" project by the Polish Society for Contemporary Music and is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
