AkoPoznań Composition Competition for a piece for accordion orchestra

Department of Accordion and Interpretation of Contemporary Music of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań and the Youth Circle of the Polish Composers' Union invite you to take part in the AkoPoznań Composition Competition, organized as part of the 13th International Accordion Days AkoPoznań 2024. The deadline for submitting applications is September 15.

The competition aims to expand original literature for accordion orchestra and promote the work of young Polish composers. The subject of the competition is to compose a piece for accordion orchestra with a duration of 5 to 10 minutes.

The competition is nationwide and is addressed to creators who are under 35 years of age (born in 1989 or later).

The prize pool in the competition is PLN 10,000.

The winning composition is planned to be premiered during the 13th International Accordion Days AkoPoznań 2024 by the AkoPoznań Accordion Orchestra.
