The book by Dr. Alicja Wołyńczyk-Raniszewska is based on her doctoral thesis, defended after completing her doctoral studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of Prof. Paweł Gusnar.

This is the first Polish-language study devoted to contemporary saxophone techniques, including very rarely used ones. It was created for composers who would like to use this type of techniques in their works.

The book's annex includes recordings on disk presenting their sound and possible and impossible combinations. Access to the disc is possible by scanning the QR code at the end of the book.
