The Baltic Opera building in Gdańsk is closed, but the opera is open online to music lovers: on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels.
If you can, stay in ... opera, but at home. Audiences have moved to the world of live streams and online archives, which quality of sound and image as well as transfer speed exceed expectations. We will not feel "the" atmosphere, we will not meet soloists and producers in the foyer, but the premiere can take place every day – in the living room or in the kitchen, free of charge.
The Baltic Opera invites viewers to discover the world of online opera: take a virtual tour of the Baltic Opera, solve puzzles and crosswords for the youngest, watch behind the scenes from opera premieres and photographs from premieres of works by Polish composers. While life performances are suspended, Jerzy Snakowski unfolds the opera secrets in the cycle "Opera Bistro".
