“Body Music” – an interactive music concert by Marzena Majcher, one of the most innovative Polish composers of film and contemporary music – will take place on 31 January 2026 at 7:00 PM at the EC1 Science and Technology Center in Łódź, in the NCKF Cinema - Odeon Hall. After the concert, the composer will present her original interactive devices, Danceformer and Exformer. Admission is free.
Marzena Majcher's compositions from the In Between and TransLocation series will be performed by the author and dancer Zuzanna Kupidura, who will use innovative technologies (interactive devices) to perform music through movement.
They will be accompanied by film visuals created by renowned Polish cinematographer Andrzej Wojciechowski, as well as Irwin Wojciechowski on bass guitar.
The concert will be a unique, multisensory experience connecting music, dance, and visual art into one immersive whole.
After the concert, we invite you to a meeting with the composer, who will talk about her creative process and the modern technologies used in her music. She will also demonstrate her original interactive devices – the Danceformer and Exformer – showing how movement can shape sound.
The event is carried out under the Programme supporting cultural and creative sector entities as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
