The Rector and the Senate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music would like to invite you to the University Celebration on February 24, 2025 at 11:00 am in the UMFC Concert Hall. The event will culminate in awarding a honorary doctorate to Professor Krzysztof Jakowicz.
In addition, Rector Professor Tomasz Strahl will present medals to distinguished UMFC employees, postdoctoral diplomas, Magna cum Laude Medals and the Rector's Grand Prix. There will also be a ceremonial promotion of PhDs.
Milosz Bembinov's Solemn Fanfare will be played, and then the world-famous violinist Prof. Krzysztof Jakowicz will perform together with the Dean of the Instrumental Faculty Dr. Robert Morawski, Prof. UMFC.
