Ceremony of awarding the title of doctor honoris causa of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz to Prof. Irena Poniatowska

Rector of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz invites you to the ceremony of awarding the title of doctor honoris causa to Prof. Irena Poniatowska. The ceremony will take place on the 12^th of April, 2024 in the Academy concert hall at 3 p.m.

Irena Poniatowska, honored with many distinctions and state awards, was associated with the Institute of Musicology of the University of Warsaw for almost 50 years. In the years 1998–2006, she chaired the International Musicological Congresses "Musica Antiqua Europae Orientalis" organized by the Pomeranian Philharmonic and supervised the scientific publications of "Acta Musicologica".
