The children's improvisation workshop "Tell Me a Fairy Tale" will take place for the first time at Piąty Wymiar – the Creative Space of Promenada (the new section of Warsaw’s Promenada Shopping Center, level +2).
On Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM, the Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites families to spend a summer morning discovering new music and the world of contemporary sounds together with renowned improvisers – composer and pianist Jarosław Siwiński, double bassist Małgorzata Kołcz, and actor and children's theater director Grzegorz Ociepka.
The workshop, part of the Polish Society for Contemporary Music's “Creative Warsaw” program, is designed for children aged 3 to 8 years and their parents. They will spend approximately 90 minutes (with a short break) enjoying thoughtful and engaging fun, surrounded by improvisations, graphic books, and the sounds of our time. Participants will also explore various sound production techniques that highlight the coloristic and dynamic qualities of sound, and they will make music together with the instructors.
The “Tell Me a Fairy Tale” series not only fosters a love of music and literature, but also helps create a healthy and creative environment in which young children can develop and express their emotions and ideas.
Participation is free of charge, but the number of places is limited – therefore, prior registration is required.
