Przemysław Lechowski will give a piano recital on the occasion of Fryderyk Chopin’s birth on March 1, 2016 at the Evangelical Augsburg Church of the Holy Trinity (1 Małachowskiego Square) at 6.30 pm.
The Church is included on the list of Chopin’s places in Warsaw as the composer played its new keyboard instrument in 1825 and was a member of the parish choir. A classicist bulding, which was almost completely destroyed during the Warsaw Rising, was reconstructed to its original architectural design after the war. Since it lost none of its magnificent acoustics, it continues to be used as a concert venue to this day.
