Pianist Michał Oleszak will perform within the National Institute of Music and Dance's project "Classics Across Poland". His recitals will take place on June 11, 2026 at the Culture and Recreation Center in Wschowa, June 12 at the Palace in Bojadła, and on June 13 at the auditorium of the Żeglarz Cinema. Admission is free, however invitations are required.
The pianist will interpret the Sarabande, Op. 14, and Melody, Op. 16, by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, as well as pieces by Fryderyk Chopin, Franz Liszt, and Sergei Prokofiev.
Michał Oleszak graduated with honors from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He is a laureate of numerous piano and chamber music competitions, including the 1st Prize at the Juliusz Zarębski International Music Competition and the 3rd Prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Narva. He has performed both in Poland and abroad - at the University of Oxford, Salamanca Hall in Gifu (Japan), the Estonian National Opera in Tallinn, the Polish Institute in Sofia, the Košice State Philharmonic, the Ehrbar-Saal in Vienna, the Warsaw Philharmonic, and the Royal Castle in Warsaw. He also represented Poland at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka (Japan).
