The concert celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the Minimus Vocal Ensemble will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 6.00 pm at the White Hall of the Poznań Bazar. It will be a unique opportunity to look back on the ensemble's artistic achievements to this day and to present a repertoire featuring the most significant works from their career.
This event is not only a culmination of the ensemble's achievements but also a moment of reflection on its growth and musical identity. The concert program will feature compositions for a cappella choir, representing a diverse range of styles and eras — from Renaissance music to the modern day. The performed pieces will include works by composers such as G.P.L. da Palestrina, T. Tomkins, F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Ł. Urbaniak, J. Krutul, and others, allowing the audience to embark on a musical journey through the centuries and discover the richness of choral literature.
The highlight of the program will be the world premieres of two contemporary compositions: Be not afeard by Marek Raczyński and Psalm VI by Adam Łapiński. The presentation of these pieces showcaes the ensemble's commitment to promoting new choral music and its ongoing collaboration with composers. The concert promises to be an event full of emotions, stylistic contrasts, and artistic diversity, aimed at lovers of both early and contemporary music.
The event is organized by the Musica Minima Association for the Promotion of Chamber Music.
