The concert of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Composers' Union from the series "Musical Seasons" will take place as part of the 67th International Festival of Contemporary Music "Warsaw Autumn" on September 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the Ursynów Cultural Center "Alternatives" (9 Indiry Gandhi Street). Admission is free!
The Prima Vista String Quartet and double bassist Paweł Pańta will perform. The artists will premiere String Quartet No. 5 "Stanisław Moryto in memoriam" (2024) by Paweł Łukaszewski.
In their interpretation, we will also hear String Quartet No. 1 by Jacek Domagała, String Quartet No. 3 by Jan Oleszkowicz, String Quartet No. 4 by Zbigniew Bagiński, and Quintetto per archi no. 2 "Krzysztof Penderecki in memoriam" by Joanna Wnuk-Nazarowa.
The concert is organized by the Polish Composers' Union and the Musical Meetings Foundation in cooperation with the Ursynów Cultural Center "Alternatives."
The partner of the concert is ZAiKS.
