On November 30, 2024, at 7:00 PM, the Varsovia Piano Trio will perform a chamber concert at the historic headquarters of the Warsaw House of Literature (87/89 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street). Admission is free!
The trio, consisting of Adam Zarzycki (violin), Ewa Skardowska (piano), and Piotr Hausenplas (cello), will present four piano trios, including works of three Polish composers: Andrzej Panufnik, Krzysztof Penderecki (an excerpt from Polish Requiem), and Bernard Chmielarz. In celebration of the Czech Culture Year, the trio will also perform Antonín Dvořák's famous "Dumky" Trio, Op. 90.
The concert will include a quiz with prizes for the audience.
The concert is organized by the Lux Musicae Foundation, with the Warsaw House of Literature as a co-organizer.
The project is co-financed by the Warsaw City Hall, Śródmieście District.
