On May 2 at 6:00 PM, pianist Weronika Górska-Mikosz will give a recital featuring rarely performed and recently rediscovered piano works by Miłosz Magin. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice, Górska-Mikosz completed a recording and album release project dedicated to Magin’s piano music in 2024, as a recipient of the “Young Poland” Scholarship Program.
On May 3 at 5:00 PM, a concert will feature students from the Piano Department of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, performing works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Karol Szymanowski, and Kazimierz Serocki. This event is a wonderful opportunity for a broad audience to experience both staples of the piano repertoire and lesser-known compositions.
