Music can work like a magic wand – just a few notes are enough to transport us into a world full of colors, dances, and extraordinary stories. On November 7, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., at the Chojnice Cultural Center, thanks to the “Resident Conductor” program of the National Institute of Music and Dance, the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot, conducted by Andrzej Mandryka, will enchant the audience with the lightness of the waltz, the energy of folk dances, and the beauty of melodies that have inspired admiration for centuries.
Performing as soloists will be Aneta Szybowicz and Marta Szyryńska-Krot – violists and members of the orchestra. The musical secrets will be revealed by Nadzieja Chomicka. The program will include Oberek by Romuald Twardowski, as well as works by Peter Warlock, Luigi Boccherini, Edvard Grieg, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Georg Philipp Telemann.
The event is partnered by the Self-Government of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Organizers: City of Sopot, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot, Self-Government of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Baltic Artistic Agency BART, and Forest Opera Powered by Energa.
The concert is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of its own program “Resident Conductor,” financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
