The Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites children (ages 4+) and their parents to attend the "Dominobajki" family concert, which will take place on June 28, 2026, at 12.30 pm at the "Kolorowa" Culture Centre – Ursus Culture Center (16 Gen. K. Sosnkowskiego St). Jarosław Siwiński's Dominobajki for piano, percussion, showman, and young audience is an extraordinary piece consisting of 15 abstract, fairy-tale miniatures performed by wonderful artists. Admission free.
In this musical cycle, the concert participants create their own micro-stories. The musicians then bring them to life with sounds, performing selected fragments in the order decided by the children. In some parts, the audience also takes an active role, becoming co-creators of the event.
Dominobajki will be performed by Jarosław Siwiński (piano), Leszek Lorent (percussion), and Małgorzata Kołcz (audience guide).
The composition was commissioned by the Children's Art Center in Poznań and has been successfully presented many times, bringing a lot of joy to the youngest listeners. It is one of numerous pieces commissioned by this institution to introduce children to the world of contemporary music in an attractive and engaging way.
Music lovers with special needs are also welcome to attend the concert.
The concert is held within the project "Creative Warsaw" by Polish Society for Contemporary Music and is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw.
Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC is the media patron of the event.
