On July 2 -5, 2026, the Saxon Palace Museum in Kutno will again become a gathering place for renowned artists, music lovers, and young talents. The 2nd "DuetON" International Chamber Music Festival was created to showcase the diverse facets of chamber music and to foster a close tie between performers and the audience. Admission to all concerts is free.
This year's program features five concerts presenting chamber music across a wide stylistic spectrum—from the Classical period to the 20th-century music.
The festival will open with a concert by the Aleami Piano Duo & DuetON Ensemble, who will perform works by Camille Saint-Saëns and Alexander Tsfasman.
The following day, Italian piano duo Ilaria Costantino and Andrea Allegrini will present four-hand masterpieces, including variations and operatic fantasies.
On July 4, Cracow Duo: Kalinowski & Szlezer will take the audience on a journey from elegy to tango, through Polish and European music from the turn of the 20th century. The program will feature works by composers such as Ludomir Różycki, Moritz Moszkowski, Alexandre Tansman, George Gershwin, and Astor Piazzolla.
The "Young Talents" concert on July 5 will feature performances by young laureates of chamber music competitions.
The festival will culminate in a recital by the outstanding mezzo-soprano Urszula Kryger and pianist Paweł Cłapiński, who will perform songs by Pauline Viardot, Saverio Mercadante, Franz Liszt, and Ludomir Różycki.
The event is organized by the Eviva l’Arte Association with the financial support of the Mayor of the City of Kutno.
