Elbląg | In the Krzysztof Książek's piano world

On October 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., the concert hall of the State Music School Complex in Elbląg will host a concert "Krzysztof Książek – piano gentleman".

The Elbląg Chamber Orchestra will perform in the company of Krzysztof Książek – one of the most talented Polish pianists of the young generation. The musicians will be led by Mateusz Rusowicz – conductor-in-residence of the EOK in the season 2018/2019.

The programme of the concert will include: Piano Concerto in E minor, Op.11 by Fryderyk Chopin, Sinfonietta "Time is ticking" by Maciej BałenkowskiAdagio for string quartet, Op. 11 by Samuel Barber and Idyll for string orchestra by Leoš Janáček. The concert will be hosted by Jarosław Praszczałek.

The concert was co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the "Conductor-in-Residence 2018/2019" programme, implemented by the Institute of Music and Dance. The concert is held under the patronage of the PWM Editions as part of the TUTTI.pl project promoting performances of Polish music.
