On July 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the Maxime Chamber Orchestra invites you to a special concert of Polish music set against a backdrop of cast-iron details and raw walls — in the industrial space of Warsztat at Fabryka Pełna Życia in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Admission is free!
Under the baton of Andrzej Mandryka, the orchestra will present three stylistically diverse works by Polish composers written for string orchestra:
The concert is organized by Orkiestra Maxime, part of Maxime Society (and the newly founded Maxime Foundation ). This ensemble, rooted in the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie region, combines high-level performance with a strong commitment to social impact. As an independent NGO, Maxime actively fundraises for its concert and educational projects under the mission “music for everyone.”
Conductor of the evening – Andrzej Mandryka – is currently a resident conductor with the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra in Sopot. A student of Prof. Szymon Bywalec, he is set to attend the prestigious Pärnu Music Festival in Estonia this July to study under Paavo Järvi.
The event is supported by the City of Dąbrowa Górnicza and presented as part of the tutti.pl program by PWM Edition, which promotes Polish performance art.
