The Gala Ceremony of the 5th Jubilee Edition of the International Competition “Musical Eagles” will take place on September 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Łódź Philharmonic. Admission is by invitation only.
The “Musical Eagles” is an annual award presented to performers, composers, educators, and other representatives of the classical music community. All laureates of the fifth edition will be announced during the ceremony. Awards will be presented in ten national and international categories.
The total prize pool amounts to PLN 22,500 gross. Winners will also receive a bronze statuette, designed by Cracow-based sculptor Marek Stankiewicz.
A non-statutory award, funded by the competition and gala partner, will also be presented.
The ZAiKS Authors’ Association Award for a Young Generation Composer, in the amount of PLN 15,000 gross.
The Saturday evening gala will feature artistic performances by soprano Wioletta Liber, pianist Małgorzata Zajączkowska-Warsza, violinist Wojciech Niedziółka, Flute Fusion Quartet, the Wind Quintet of the Academy of Music in Łódź, and Fudala / Pujanek / Rot Trio, who will perform a piece by the ZAiKS Award laureate.
The creator and organizer of the International Competition “Musical Eagles” is the “Music to the Power” Foundation.
The competition partner is the ZAiKS Authors’ Association.
The competition is held under the Honorary Patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
It is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the “Music” program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
