On November 19, 2017 the Warsaw Filharmonic will host the Gala Concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 in Warsaw.
The Jubilee Orchestra will consist of students, pedagogues and graduates of the school rehearsed by Wojciech Pławner and conducted by Łukasz Borowicz – the school graduate of 1996.The list of soloists will include flautist Marianna Żołnacz, pianist Tomasz Ritter, and violinist Zuzanna Kuklińska. Also, the Jubilee Choir led by Anna Perzanowska-Tarasiuk will perform along with pianists Jan Tabędzki and Zuzanna Moskwik. The programme will feature works by E. Chausson, W. Kilar, K. Kurpiński, E. Pankiewicz, S. Prokofiew, G. Reinecke, and K. Szymanowski.
The Jubilee Gala Concert will be also the 25th Charitable Concert for the Polish Society of Multiple Sclerosis organized by the school. The jubilee has been granted the Honorary Patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
