The Studio of Electroacoustic Music at the Academy of Music in Poznań invites you to take part in the musical farewell "Hommage à Rafał Zapała".
By Wednesday, July 22nd (until midnight), the organizers kindly ask for links to short audio miniatures (maximum 20 seconds) to be sent to:
All submitted works will be published on the YouTube profile of the Studio of Electroacoustic Music.
Works with a total duration not exceeding 15 minutes will be presented — in the order of submission — during the farewell ceremony.
The funeral ceremony will take place on Friday, July 25th at 1:00 PM at the Junikowo Municipal Cemetery in Poznań. After the ceremony (around 2:30 PM), a musical farewell performed by friends and faculty members will take place at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.
Rafał Zapała was the first person to help organize the Studio of Electroacoustic Music at the Academy under the guidance of Prof. Lidia Zielińska.
