The Tyniec Chamber Recitals will once again combine classical music with modernity, masterful performances with an intimate atmosphere — all set in the unique surroundings of the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec.
The second edition of the festival will take place on summer Sundays from July 6 to August 31, 2025.
Admission to all concerts is free!
“The second edition of the Tyniec Chamber Recitals continues an idea born from the need to create a space for deep musical connection in a place filled with silence, beauty, and history. In a year when Poland celebrates the 1000th anniversary of the royal coronation, the concerts in Tyniec take on an additional, symbolic meaning,”
emphasizes Paweł Czarakcziew, the festival’s artistic director.
The program features concerts that reflect on the legacy of Polish music in diverse ways. The works of Chopin, Szymanowska, Żeleński, Zarębski, and Tansman will serve as a musical tribute to a thousand years of Polish culture and identity.
Performers include:
Cracow Duo: Kalinowski & Szlezer, Aleksander Mocek & Bartosz Gorzkowski, LLLeggiero Woodwind Trio, Brass Riders (debut performance at the festival – brass quartet from the Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic presenting Polish film music in original arrangements), Terremoto Orchestra, Zarębski Piano Duo
The festival is organized by Kolektyw Muzyczny Society in cooperation with the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, the Chronić Dobro Foundation, and the Pogórze Cultural Center.
The project is carried out with the financial support of the Małopolskie Voivodeship.
