August 4, 2024 at 2 p.m., the newly established Suito Yanagawa Hakushu Hall in Yanagawa, Japan will host the Asian premiere of the piece Impact by Tomasz Skweres for solo violin. The famous Japanese violinist Yukihiro Nishimoto will perform as a soloist.
The Hakushu Hall Ensemble and its artistic director - Polish pianist Ignacy Lisiecki - will also take part in the concert. It is guided by the idea of presenting music from a different region of the world in the Suito Yanagawa Hakushu Hall concert hall every year and regularly promoting contemporary music. Last year, the ensemble presented music from Eastern Europe - the Japanese premieres of Panufnik's Trio and compositions by Valentyn Sylvestrov took place. This year, the Japanese premiere of a work by a Polish composer working in Vienna and Regensburg will take place.
