Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jerzy Salwarowski will give performances on January 13 and 14, 2017.
The Orchestra will present Capriccio Italien, Op. 45 by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, symphonic poem Stanisław and Anna Oświęcim, Op. 12 by Mieczysław Karłowicz and a symphonic poem Kościelec 1909 by Wojciech Kilar - a work which was composed for the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Philharmonic and refers to Karłowicz’s death in the Tatra Mountains. The programme will be completed by Concerto for Piano 4 Hands and Orchestra, Op. 153 by Carl Czerny interpreted by Duo Tal&Groethuysen (pianists Yaara Tal and Andreas Groethuysen).
