Teh 5th jubilee edition of the AŻ Festival will be hosted by the Academy of Music in Łódź between November 24 and December 10, 2017. 

Along with prominent musicians from Poland and abroad, such as Rex Richardson, Belgian Brass ensemble, or Zbigniew Namysłowski Quintet, audiences will have a chance to listen to young local artists who study at the Academy of Music in Łódź.

At the opening concert The Symphony Orchestra of The Academy of Music in Łódź under Marcin Wolniewski will perform film music by Wojciech Kilar, Piotr Marczewski and Piotr Hertl. The final concert under the baton of Jerzy Swoboda will feature A Varsovie by Bronisław Kazimierz Przybylski, Woven Music by Marcin Stańczyk and The Symphony of Sorrowful Songs by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.
