Clarinetist Julian Paprocki and composer Mateusz Ryczek invite you to a contemporary music concert on June 7, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Hashtag Lab in Warsaw.
The program will feature works by Polish composers written for the rarely heard combination of bass clarinet and electronics.
As Paprocki notes:
"This is about an acoustic reality, where the space is defined by sonic intensity, color... timbre, and the extensiveness of meaning. To what extent is what we perceive a truth of nature, and how much a lie of culture? Spectral transformations of sound, electronic processing, computer-generated textures, and at the same time an exploration of the instrument’s timbral potential."
The program will include compositions by Jan Stańczyk, Artur Zagajewski, Ewa Trębacz, Wojciech Błażejczyk, and Mateusz Ryczek himself.
The Hashtag Lab Contemporary Music Space is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
